The last speaker (Thank god, this blog looks like a civics lesson otherwise) was an ex army man.
There is a difference between torture and violence. Torture is by a person in a position of power toward a person at a lower position for a purpose. So even untouchability is torture.
In a democracy dissent is most essential. You cannot call it democracy if there is no argument. But our govt cannot take dissent. The police is asking google not to publish certain articles. why? Democracy is becoming a police state, there is an undeclared emergency. it will resemble the Pinochet regime of Chile. The influence of the economic system is very high. So be prepared to face a state run by corporates, police controlled by corporates. Stay alert and voice out and save democracy brfore you lose it to money guzzling corporates.
