Kambla is a traditional sport of the canara. Its a race between two teams, each having a pair of buffaloes and a running jockey! the track is filled with slush! Check out the photos, you will know..!
10 things you got to know before you go to one of these events.
1. Buffaloes can RUN! and they can run fast!
2. Slush and white clothes dont mix!
3. Man+ buffalo+ race = Adrenalin rush.
4. Racing is always interesting when you bet!( old school knowledge)
5. You dont need to burn rubber in this drag race!!
6. PETA/ Maneka etc not allowed on Kambla grounds.
7. Please dont expect racing suits and aerodynamics.
8. Buffaloes are horny (they have horns). be careful!
9. Dont sing "Buffalo soldier". Cliche!
10. You are going to be enthralled!
